About myself
My approach is humanistic-existential, a broad and flexible model. A mix of theory, life and philosophy.
It emphasises an openness in being with and alongside whatever comes of our experience.
I studied at Regents University, a leading training organisation, where I completed a Post Graduate and Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapy. I am registered and accredited by the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and abide by its code of ethics and practice.
For some years, I worked as a Psychotherapist in an NHS outpatients setting at the Maudsley Hospital, South London.
I have a past, before training as a therapist. I worked in the visual arts and in a creative field. It’s had a bearing on my approach. Therapy may include imaginative ways of opening up and deepening our experience.
